• Bus: Shuttle buses are available at the metro station; only 1.6 RMB to reach the entrance.

1. Wander the Ancient Streets

The ancient town itself is perfect for strolling.After entering through the main gate, turn right into the market alleys.The atmosphere is amazing —ancient‑style shops, quirky toys 🪆, umbrella decorations ☂️, wishing ribbons 🪔, and blooming flowers 🌷.Every corner is photogenic 📷

2. Visit the Landmarks

Walk straight ahead to see the Gankeng Watchtower exterior and the Gankeng museum🗿.

Gankeng has tons of interactive experiences:ethnic costume photography, upside‑down house 🏠, tornado & earthquake simulator 🌪, VR center, and even bottle‑feeding fish 🍼🐡 — great for both adults and kids 👍We tried the fish‑feeding activity (about 20–30 RMB) and it was fun.
