Shenzhen Metro Line 11 Sea View Ride: Ocean Scenery From Bao’an Airport to Bihai Bay at Sunset

To be honest, I didn’t expect that Shenzhen also has a metro line where you can see the sea. You just can't miss it!

When you step out of the airport and head to the metro station, you’ll be greeted by this beautiful view.

It’s on Metro Line 11 (not to be confused with Line 1, which doesn’t offer the same scenery). The stretch from Bao’an Airport to Bihai Bay gives you a close‑up ocean view 🌊. This is easily one of the most relaxing and unique metro rides in Shenzhen.

We rode in the business carriage, which you can access by tapping your metro card before entering(this is important, otherwise you're not allowed to enter the business carriage). You’ll get a sky-roof ceiling ☁️ and comfortable soft seats 🪑.

For the best experience, I recommend going around 5–6 PM. You can capture the sunset over the sea 🌇, and the view is stunning.
