Holiland Bakery at Shenzhen King Glory Plaza: Fresh Bread & Desserts but Needs Further Review

Holiland is a well‑known brand that’s often promoted online, and although I’d heard about it for a long time, I never had the chance to try it. Recently, I found out they opened a store in King Glory Plaza near my workplace, so of course — being a street‑smart Shenzhen local — I had to go check it out 💁

📍 Located on the B1 floor of King Glory Plaza, Luohu

🏬 Environment

The glass display cases are filled with freshly baked bread. 🍞 Everything is beautifully presented. There’s also a full wall of artistic custom cakes 🍰 that you can order for special occasions.

💁 Service

I picked everything myself, so aside from checkout, nothing particularly stood out. But the staff were indeed very efficient and organized. Holiland is often praised for its good‑looking staff and great service, but during my visit, nothing felt especially remarkable to me.

🍮 Food Review

This time I tried the caramel crispy cream puff, A box comes with four cream puffs and costs 15 RMB.

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, sweet but not heavy.The filling is light and not overly sweet. It does get a bit crumbly, so remember to hold something underneath to catch the flakes.

📚 Overall Review

The experience was good but not outstanding. The puff I tried is not their most promoted products. Next time I might try their cake pecan cake which usually get praised about.
