This was my first time seeing a hotpot restaurant offering such an incredibly rich variety of ingredients. We ordered the clear broth pot, which came with mushrooms, tomatoes, and cucumber. It looked so appetizing the moment it arrived. Although this restaurant is known for its traditional spicy hotpot, the clear broth turned out to be surprisingly delicious as well.
🗺️ The shop is right across King Glory Plaza.

❤️ The Impressive Nine‑Grid Meat and Vegetable Platters
This time, we tried their signature nine‑grid platters, and the selection honestly shocked me with how abundant it was.

Nine‑Grid Meat Platter
The meat platter included marinated beef slices, beef tripe, egg dumplings, squid, diced ham, quail eggs, shrimp paste, and more.

Nine‑Grid Vegetable Platter
The vegetable platter featured lettuce stems, noodles, tofu, potatoes, wood ear mushrooms, pumpkin, cordyceps flowers, and other fresh ingredients.
Just one pot already felt incredibly rich and satisfying.

🏆 Highly Recommended Dishes
🦐 Shrimp Paste
Bouncy, tender, and full of fresh seafood flavor.
🥚 Egg Dumplings
Fresh, not greasy, and the egg and meat blend together beautifully.
🥩 Marinated Beef
Smooth, tender, and very enjoyable.
Among the vegetables, the pumpkin was especially impressive—soft, creamy, and perfect for balancing out the richness of the meal.

🌲 Cozy Environment with Thoughtful Details
The environment here is also excellent. Every seat comes with its own basket for storing bags, and they even provide disposable aprons, which shows how much they care about customer comfort.

The restaurant layout is also well‑designed. You walk through a corridor before entering the main dining area, which helps block the cold winter wind from blowing directly inside.

🛎 Excellent Service
The service was outstanding. The staff checked on us regularly, helped us cook ingredients, and even assisted with the shrimp paste. Everything felt attentive and considerate.
📚Overall Review

This hotpot restaurant is absolutely worth revisiting. The next day, I tried another place that claimed to be a “premium hotpot restaurant,” but after eating there, I still felt that Mi Chong Shan Old Hotpot offered much better value for money.
