Tai Er Sichuan Cuisine is famous in China particularly for it's signature dish - Sauerkraut Fish. I've heard of this brand a long time ago, and friends around me had tried and gave good reviews. Therefor I would really love a chance to try, too.

🗺️ The restaurant I went located on the second floor of OCT Happy Harbour O’Plaza in Nanshan District.
😮💨 I originally wanted to order their signature fish, but unfortunately they told us it was sold out and we’d need to wait 30 minutes. So we switched to stir‑fried dishes, though those also took more than half an hour to arrive.

🍚Food
We ordered the two‑person set meal. It included three dishes, the portions were generous, and the value was acceptable.
🏆 Chicken Cooked with Five‑Finger Fig Root
Highly recommende, the first taste totally impressed me. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The five‑finger fig root and mushrooms 🍄 perfectly enhanced the natural taste of the chicken. They also added sand ginger, giving the dish a rich, aromatic depth. The chicken itself was tender and smooth.

✅ Egg Stir‑Fried with Beancurd Sticks and Black Fungus
A healthy dish by the first look.Plenty of egg, and the beancurd sticks were soft and pleasant. Black Fungus were crisp.

😐 Stir‑Fried Pork Liver
This one was spicy 🌶️ and a bit too salty. However, the pork liver was tender.

🌲Environment
The restaurant features a warm wooden interior that feels comfortable. Some seats come with USB charging ports, which is very convenient. There’s also self‑serve tea — I recommend the chenpi white tea; the roselle tea tastes more like plum tea.

🛎️Service
Service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. They even offered complimentary brown sugar ice jelly and it tasted very refreshing 🍮.

📚 Overall
The food was quite good. It’s just a pity we didn’t get to try the fish this time. I’ll visit another branch next time to give it another shot.
