Mr. Wildman Ice Cream in Dongmen: Smooth Pistachio Flavor & Holiday Deal Review

I finally got to try Mr. Wildman’s ice cream ! The reason why it is 'famous', is the price. If you don't use any discount, one ice cream can cost you 38 RMB, which is wild because is about the same price as those luxury ice cream brand.

There was a special promotion during the May Day holiday, and you could get it for just 0.01 yuan, so of course I grabbed the deal right away 😜

There are so many brances in Shenzhen, so I visited the branch located inside Sun Department Store in Dongmen. They open at 10:00 AM, so make sure you don’t arrive too early.

There were several flavors to choose from: mango, rice, and pistachio. I tried the pistachio flavor in a cup. The staff sprinkled pistachio powder on top and even gave me a round paper pad to catch the crumbs.

The ice cream was incredibly smooth and creamy, and the nutty bits added a great texture. The sweetness was light and refreshing, not heavy at all.

No wonder this ice cream brand is so popular 🔥 I’m really curious about the rice flavor. I’ll definitely come back to try it next time.
