If you’ve never tried fish‑based hotpot before, you absolutely shouldn’t miss this place! To be honest, I’ve already eaten here twice in a row.

📍 Located on the 3rd floor of Yitian Holiday Plaza in Luohu — Cuixiansheng Hotpot.
The crispy mandarin fish slices are fragrant, tender, and genuinely delicious. You can clearly see how fresh they are — translucent, glossy, and beautifully cut. When served, the fish looks as stunning as diamonds. We ordered both the fish slices and fish belly, and both were excellent.

You can also choose the Five‑Finger Fig Root Soup Base. This is a true delight for Cantonese diners.
For dipping sauces, you can customize your own — and they even offer lemongrass. I strongly recommend that you add this into your sauce, you never know how it makes the fish taste incredibly fresh by adding the crunchy texture.

As for the menu, the selection isn’t very large. For meats, there are only fish and chicken. The portion size of the vegetables we order is also small, at least not enough for two girls.

🌲Environment
The environment is enjoyable and relaxing, with seats surrounded by lush greenery. There’s a dedicated station where you can customize your dipping sauce, and even a hand‑washing sink which is a thoughtful touch that you rarely see in restaurants(tho I don't know why they put cobble stones in the sink).
The restaurant also features a large viewing window where you can watch the chefs skillfully slice the fish. The technique is impressive, as each piece needs to be cut extremely thin so it cooks quickly and evenly.

Overall:
The flavor is genuinely good — the fish is exceptionally fresh and worth trying. The environment is comfortable, and the service is great.
But the value for money is a bit low. Two people spent nearly 300 RMB, and we only ordered the soup base, fish slices, fish belly, and vegetables. Hopefully, they can offer better pricing in the future.
