A well‑known Japanese restaurant (Yi Le Shi Tang) that has been extremely popular in Futian District has finally opened a new branch in Luohu. It was even featured on TVB, which naturally raises the question: is it really as good as people say?

🗺️ The new location sits on the B1 floor of King Glory Plaza. The original branch in One Avenue became so popular that they decided to expand and open another shop here.
Overall, the flavors truly live up to the reputation. We tried their two‑person set meal, and the portion size was surprisingly generous.

🏆Eel Taco — A Must‑Try Signature Dish
One of the standout items is the eel taco. It comes in a large portion with a long piece of grilled eel laid across the top. Inside, you’ll find tempura, fish roe, pork floss, and other crispy elements that create a rich, layered texture. The sweet‑savory flavor profile is appetizing and well balanced.(The salmon taco is also good, though the salmon on top is quite plain.)

🏆Crab Stick & Mashed Potato Tartare
This dish is another pleasant surprise. A mashed potato tart base is topped with crab sticks and sweet salad dressing, creating a soft, creamy, and satisfying bite. Simple but delicious.

✅Beef Belly Rice Bowl
The beef belly rice bowl comes with a generous amount of meat, paired with egg and sauce that enhance the rich, savory flavor. It also includes a side of soup, making it a hearty and comforting option.

✅Drinks: Green Grape Sparkling Water & Calpis
The Calpis is fairly standard, but the green grape sparkling water stands out with its presentation — almost like drinking white wine. It’s refreshing, lightly sweet, and worth recommending.

📚Overall Dining Experience
The food is creative, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Service is attentive and accommodating, and the interior design carries a strong Japanese atmosphere with charming details. It’s easy to see why so many people enjoy dining here.
